Stained glass in St Andrew's Church (2023)
In August 2023 two new stained-glass windows were installed in St Andrew's Church to mark the 900th anniversary of the charter of Henry I granting a chapel at Headington to the Priory of St Frideswide in Oxford, founded in 1122. They were designed by Nicholas Mynheer and created by Steven Cowan of Master Glass Artists Ltd.

Left light, from the top:
- Andrew in his boat, catching fish in a net, with a swallow above him symbolising the Resurrection .
- St Frideswide, bathing the eyes of King Algar in a stream
- King Henry I, holding a charter of 1122
- Sir Hugh Pluggenait holding a lantern for a stone mason who is working with a mallet under the church's Norman arch

Right light, from the top:
- Woman washing Jesus's feet in Simon's house
- The Headington windmill
- Charles I struggling with Cromwell and his parliamentary troops coming through Headington
- A white hart, symbol of the nearby pub
- The Holy Family's flight into Egypt

Left light, from the top:
- The Good Samaritan

- The Morris Motors and Pressed Steel Fisher factories, where many Headington people worked
- A Hawker Hurricane being repaired at Morris Motors during the Second World War
